A peaceful walk through Bellever Forest or to the nearby Clapper Bridge feels extra special when the ground crunches beneath your boots and the air is sharp and fresh.

 

Winter is Dartmoor at its quietest. The summer crowds have long gone, leaving space to truly appreciate the stillness of the moor. You’ll often find you have the paths and views almost to yourself, perfect for guests who value calm, comfort, and time to reconnect.
