Hidden within a sheltered valley on the southern edge of Dartmoor, Lukesland Gardens offers 24 acres of lovingly tended woodland, meadows, and water features, a private family run garden that feels deeply connected to the landscape and its past.
The gardens follow the tranquil flow of the Addicombe Brook, with a series of pools, waterfalls, and bridges creating a peaceful rhythm throughout your walk. Lukesland is especially beloved for its show stopping spring and autumn colour.
Lukesland feels like a secret waiting to be discovered.
The tearoom, located in the family’s former billiard room, serves homemade cakes, light lunches and hot drinks.
Don’t Miss:
• The Japanese acers in autumn, a breathtaking display of crimson and gold
• The garden’s peaceful tearoom, full of local charm
Top Tip: Lukesland is only open during the spring and autumn seasons, when the garden is at its most spectacular.
