Arrive to a warm welcome where you' can then Indulge in a choice of delightful beverages, including a Hot Toddy made with local Dartmoor Whisky, Mulled Wine infused with seasonal spices, or a selection of fine teas and coffees.
 
After settling into your room, take a leisurely stroll into Postbridge or relax and unwind after your journey.
 
Immerse yourself in the evening's festivities starting at 6:45pm, as we serve pre-dinner drinks in our cosy lounge.
 
Then, savour a delectable 3-course dinner of your choice in our beautifully lit intimate restaurant from 7pm. Experience the pleasure of locally sourced, high-quality cuisine prepared with meticulous attention to detail.
 
After dinner, retire to the lounge for a nightcap, a cup of coffee, or perhaps indulge in a tempting treat of decadent chocolates.
 
Sunday 31st  December - New Year's Eve

Begin the day with a delightful breakfast prepared in our light and airy conservatory, offering breath-taking views across the valley. Choose from our tempting menu, featuring options such as a full Devonshire breakfast, Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, or lighter fare such as yogurt, fresh fruits, and granola.
 
Take a leisurely local walk into historical Postbridge (500 yards from hotel), where you can capture photographs of the famous clapper bridge or venture into Bellever Woods. For the adventurous, embark on a more vigorous hike to one of Dartmoor's majestic Tors and revel in the awe-inspiring panoramic scenery.
 
As the evening approaches, it's time to dress in your finest attire to welcome 2024 in style. Join us at 7pm in the lounge for a sumptuous champagne reception. Indulge in a luscious 3-course dinner while being entertained by a private Theatre performance  adding an extra touch of magic to your New Year's Eve celebration.
 
Immerse yourself in the festivities and after dinner retire to the lounge and raise your champagne glasses and prepare to welcome in the New Year with joy and anticipation.
 
Monday 1st January 2024 - New Year's Day

Savour a well-deserved lie-in as breakfast will be served a little later at 10am in our charming garden room.
 
Afterwards, venture out for another day of exploration. Embark on a rejuvenating walk through Wistman's Woods, a national nature reserve with over 160 years of history.
 
Visit nearby picturesque villages like Chagford or Tavistock. Alternatively, simply unwind in our lounge, nestled in our sink-into chairs and sofas, and take the time to rest and recharge.
 
In the evening,  enjoy a hearty roast, of your choice accompanied by delectable trimmings and delightful dessert.
